Grounds Anderson, LLC has developed numerous workshops on subjects such as flood plain management, hydraulics, hydrology, geographic information systems, and cartography for the lay public, engineers, architects, surveyors, flood plain determination specialists, City, State, and Federal personnel, and college students.
Flood Plain Management 101 has been taught by Grounds Anderson, LLC on behalf of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the Texas Flood Plain Management Association, Texas Colorado River Flood Coalition, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors. - Flood Plain Mitigation Workshops have been taught on behalf of the Texas Flood Plain Management Association.
- Residential Substantial Damage Estimator has been taught on behalf of the Federal Emergency Management Association.
- FEMA Elevation Certificate Workshop has been taught on behalf of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors, the Texas Colorado River Flood Coalition, and the Texas Flood Plain Management Association.
- Permitting and Development in Special Flood Hazard Workshops have been conducted in conjunction with the Harris County Flood Control District, City of Houston, and Harris County.
