AIA Sandcastle
Grounds Anderson has competed in the AIA Sandcastle Competition in Galveston for the past several years. Our themes have included: Lady Bird Blue, Mario’s Sandcastle and iPhish. In 2008 our sandcastle was named Most Hilarious.
Special Olympics
Grounds Anderson volunteers at the Area VI Special Olympics Track Event each year in College Station. This event hosts over 200 athletes each year.
AWRA GIS Specialty Conference
Grounds Anderson chaired the 2006 AWRA GIS Specialty Conference in Houston, Texas for over 300 attendees. We presented our GIS innovations during the Opening Plenary Session and outfitted all guests with 3D glasses for our presentation.
